If you need a shower pump that is efficient, cheap to run, high in performance and above all very quiet in operation then the QT45NH pump is the one for you. Now, your early morning or late night shower won't wake up the rest of your household.
If you are extending your home or are converting your loft, the chances are that you have what is known as Negative Head. A Negative Head situation exists where the pumped outlet (e.g. shower-head) is in a position that is level with or higher than the base of the cold water storage tank.
The Techflow QT45NH negative head pump looks good too, within the sleek extruded aluminium body it uses the most advanced impeller and diffuser design which not only provides high pressure and flow performance, but most importantly of all it ensures minimal energy consumption and a long trouble free life.
The technology behind this centrifugal pump is subtly different from the norm to create a whisper quiet pump that not only gives the best possible performance available, but this superior design allows this QT45 pump to handle hot water at higher temperatures without the problem of cavitation (i.e. aeration of the water causing spasmodic loss of pressure at your shower head). If correctly installed this shower pump can operate with the hot water temperature upto 70 degrees.
The Techflow QT45NH negative head pump 1.2bar is continuously rated and is designed to pump showers where both hot and cold water will normally be used at the same time. It is supplied with 4 braided metal, heavy duty push fit hoses and full installation instructions.
All QT pumps include a 3 year warranty, providing you install a Techflange to your hot supply (available separately in our Pump Accessories section). Otherwise the warranty period is 2 years.
